About Adam
Adam Rothenberg is a composer, professor, and musician from Centreville VA.  He received his Doctorate and Masters in Music from George Mason University, and his Bachelors of Music from James Madison University. He studied composition with Mark Camphouse, Jesse Guessford, Glen Smith, Jason Haney, and John Hilliard. Adam's performing background is in woodwinds, he studied oboe with Dr. Margret Owens at GMU and saxophone with Prof. David Pope at JMU. His passion is teaching at the collegiate level where he can share his expertise and love of music. He has taught diverse courses including music theory, computer technology, history, and directing chamber ensembles at both the undergraduate and graduate level.  Adam currently teaches music theory courses at Shenandoah University and music history courses at George Mason University.
